WELCOME

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Linda Ellis and I’m a jewellery designer and freelance graphic designer. Currently I run Purplegems, my jewellery business which I set up in 2007.  I make necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, ankle chains and phone charms. I also design wedding jewellery, from which you can buy tiaras, hair clips, bridal wands and jewellery for all members of the wedding party. I sell my jewellery online, at craft fairs, shopping events, markets, boot sales and home parties. I also submit designs to magazines and so far have had my projects featured in Beads and Beyond magazine.

I do dabble in other crafts such as making fairy wings, painting wine and champagne glasses, designing dolls houses and T.Shirt designs. I will feature these here once the creations are finished so keep coming back to view my ‘miscellaneous’ section. I will mention it on my blog when I have something new to share. I have always loved jewellery and accessories. It’s creativity or nothing in my world! I find alot of things inspire me, colours around me, pictures in magazines, cards I receive at Christmas or on my birthday, previous jewellery designs, charity shops, thrifting, graphical prints, visits to museums, books, the internet, shops and my best friend who is also very creative. (How did you guess?!)

JEWELLERY PARTIES
If you are interested in having your own jewellery party then please feel free to contact me. I work in Essex around the Basildon-Southend border. Receive 10% of the total party sales to spend on yourself when you hold a party and they're free, just have a minimum of 6 friends, supply some nibbles and drink if you want and leave me to do the rest. I can guarantee you and your friends a brilliant girlie night in!
